Photographs from St. Patricks National Schools 1920s-1950s

The original school was situated in the back of St. Patrick’s Church where it was founded in 1865 before a purpose built school was erected in 1915. This school was for both boys and girls from the parish, in 1965 the new Boys school was built opposite the older school and the old school was used for girls only.
