New Limerick’s Life Podcast

Posted on March 18, 2025March 24, 2025 by Sharon Slater

If you love history, have a curious mind, or just enjoy a good story with a dash of humour, you will enjoy the new Limerick’s Life Podcast. I’ve spent years digging up the wild, wonderful, and sometimes downright weird history of Limerick—now, I get to share it with you.

And I won’t be doing it alone. My co-host, Peter, has no credentials, no formal historical knowledge… but he does have a microphone and a lot of questions. Together, we’ll explore sieges, rebellions, ghostly legends, and even the occasional odd uprising.

History isn’t just for experts—it’s for anyone who’s ever wondered why a street has a certain name, or if the limerick poem really does come from Limerick. So, if you’re ready for a deep dive into the fascinating past of this incredible city, hit subscribe on your favourite streaming app or our youtube channel and join us.
